Now that you understand the basics of “Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle”, take the next step to making your
community more sustainable!

Initiatives

As the last part of the Small Steps to Sustainability Patch,
please complete one or both of the two initiatives below.

Initiative 1 - DO A WASTE AUDIT

Do a waste audit at home by examining the garbage that your family creates in one day and determining how you can reduce their waste.

Initiative 2 - ADD TO OUR UPCYCLED CRAFT GALLERY

With parent’s permission, submit one or more photos of upcycled craft(s) you create to be added to our Upcycled Craft Gallery.  We will post the gallery on our Unite for Earth Day website.
