Westonka/Orono Service Unit

Westonka/Orono Service Unit proudly serves the girls of the Westonka and Orono School Districts, and some private schools; including the cities of Independence, Long Lake, Maple Plain, Medina, Minnetonka Beach, Minnetrista, Mound, Orono, and Spring Park.

In the Fall of 2024, they will be reorganized into the Orono (C130) and Westonka (C200) Communities which align with the public school districts.

Girl Scouts of Minnesota and Wisconsin River Valleys (“GSRV,” “River Valleys,” or “council”) is one of 111 Girl Scout councils in the United States. We serve nearly 17,200 girls in southern Minnesota, western Wisconsin, and one county in Iowa. Our work is supported by more than 6,300 volunteers.

Northern Star Council

Northern Star Scouting serves 21 counties across central Minnesota (Anoka, Carver, Chippewa, Chisago, Dakota, Hennepin, Isanti, Kandiyohi, Lac Qui Parle, Le Sueur, McLeod, Meeker, Ramsey, Renville, Rice, Scott, Washington, Wright, and Yellow Medicine, and portions of Stearns and Swift), and four western Wisconsin counties (Pierce, St. Croix, Polk, and Burnett).
